11 Common E-liquid Questions Beginners Always Ask!

11 Common E-liquid Questions Beginners Always Ask!

Many new vapors or e-liquid users in Damman and Jeddah have lots of questions and myths regarding E-liquid. Here are answers to the few most common questions

  1. Does e-liquid expire?

Vape liquid ingredients have a shelf life of approximately one to two years. Each bottle of vape juice must have a production date on the label. Take a look at the production date, and that provides the baseline. In general, your vape juice will be suitable for vaping for at least a year from that production date.

  1. Is e-liquid flammable?

Yes, Vape juices contain nicotine that evaporates at 200 C or 680 F.

Safe Storage: If you have young children, you can naturally (and should) be smart about how and where you keep your extra vaping supplies. Tall, out-of-reach cabinets or locked boxes are ideal places to store e-liquid, as this prevents most young children from having access to a bottle. Also, pure nicotine and e-liquid are flammable, so they should be stored in a dark and cool place, away from sources of heat and flames. This also helps it last longer.

  1. Does e-liquid have sugar?

No. Vape juice gets its sweetness and flavour from flavourings and diluents. These diluents are vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol, or a mixture of the two.

If you have heard that vaping increases your risk of diabetes, it is not because there is sugar in the vape juice. Nicotine is the culprit in increasing the risk of suffering from this disease. Unlike regular cigs, you can control your nicotine use while vaping.

  1. What is the difference between e-liquid and vape juice?

Is e-liquid different from e juice? Is our vape juice and e juice the same? Dammam Vape has the answer for vapers wondering what the difference is or even a difference between e-liquid, e juice, and vape juice.

Vape juice, e juice, and e-liquid are terms that mean the same thing. There is no difference between them. All three refer to the liquid used in e-cigs.

  1. Is vape keto-friendly?

Diets like keto and those that introduce elements of fasting into your lifestyle have become popular ways to lose weight and get fit, and some can vape at the same time. While you don’t fast keto but stick to certain food groups (protein and fat and mostly avoid carbs), some people wonder if vaping while fasting is a good idea if they’re not supposed to be ingesting—nothing for a specified period. The good news is that the e-liquid is carb-free, which is why most keto dieters continue to vape.

  1. What does e-liquid contain?

E-Liquid (or vape juice) is made up of three (sometimes four) ingredients. Propylene Glycol (or PG for short), Vegetable Glycerin (VG), flavoring, and if you choose, nicotine. Each component plays an essential role in your vaping experience.

  1. Are e-liquid bottles recyclable?

If you are an e-liquid user, you probably buy those little 10ml plastic bottles to refill your vaping device. The plastic bottle is recyclable so that it can go in its green container. (However, if you are eco-minded, you can wash and reuse it as well.) You can guess that most plastic e-liquid bottles will end up in a landfill or be incinerated, releasing harmful toxins into the air.

  1. Is e-liquid safer than cigs?

Vaping allows you to have control over the strength of nicotine you intake. E-Liquid bottles are available in strengths ranging from 0mg to 20mg of nicotine.

As you stop smoking and get used to vaping, you can gradually lower your nicotine intake. You may even become nicotine-free!

  1. Is e-liquid vegan?

Liquids are prepared with a base. It can be propylene glycol (PG) or vegetable glycerin (VG) or their combination. If we discuss them in detail, vegetable glycerin is made up of vegetable oil, such as coconut.

Without a doubt, it is vegan-friendly and perfect for vegan candidates. On the other hand, propylene glycol is made up of organic compounds, that is, extracted from oil. It is not made with ingredients of animal origin.

Water is the main ingredient in e-liquids. It is in distillate form, which is perfect for vegans.

The E-liquid contains nicotine. It is also vegan because it is made up of plant ingredients, such as potatoes, green pepper, etc.

  1.  Is e-liquid terrible for your skin?

The short answer is yes. Vaping could negatively affect your skin in several ways. Although more research is needed, evidence suggests that vaping could cause you to experience dry skin, accelerated aging, and even slower wound healing.

BUT … it’s not all bad news!

You should take steps to mitigate some of the adverse effects of vaping.

  1. Is e-liquid terrible for your teeth?

While vape juice contains much less nicotine than traditional tobacco products (and may not have anything depending on the user), the negative effect of nicotine on the gums is well known. Nicotine not only reduces blood flow to the gums but also interferes with our mouth’s natural ability to combat infection and replenish connective tissue, putting us at risk for gum disease and tooth loss.

I hope these 11 things help to understand liquids in detail!
